 District Updates
On June 1st, 2005 the Shawondassee District split into two districts. The first district, District 18 (Huguenot Trail),
consists of Chesterfield county north of Powhite (rt. 76) and north of Old Hundred Road and includes all
of Powhatan county. The second district, District 28 (Arrohattoc), consists of Chesterfield county south of Powhite (rt. 76)
and Old Hundred Road.
As of June 1, 2006 the transition has been completed. Huguenot Trail contact, calendar, and program information can now be found at the Heart of Virginia website and on the Huguenot Trail District website. For additional information on this District, please contact their District Commissioner, Mark Waggoner.
Arrohattoc: "Building a New Legend"
A team of Arrohattoc volunteers is designing a new website for district use and communications. If you would like to be part of this team, please contact the District Communications Coordinator, Marian Fletcher.
This site will continue to be a source of information for District 28 until the Arrohattoc website is completed in 4th Quarter 2006.
